More women are joining RNLI, says Manx volunteer

21-year-old Chloe Spooner teaches English at RGS

There's a better gender balance within the Island's RNLI crews.

That's from volunteer 21-year-old Chloe Spooner, who teaches English at Ramsey Grammar School.

She's been volunteering for the charity since the age of 17 and says since then she's seen more women join up:

Chloe recently completed her training at the RNLI college, funded by Lloyd's Register Foundation.

She's part of the boat crew for Peel lifeboat.
