Addiction services go digital
Concerns have been raised about a rise in substance abuse since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.
Many organisations that deal with addiction have moved their services online, including Motiv8.
The charity is now holding group webinars, zoom meetings, and phone and email consultations to make up for the lack of face-to-face contact and continue helping those during self-isolation.
Lyn from Motiv8 spoke to Rhian Evans about the impact the coronavirus pandemic has had on people using the addiction service:
Anyone who would like to contact Motiv8, can do so either via their Facebook page, or by calling 627656.
