A motorcyclist killed in a crash with a car in the west of the Isle of Man suffered fatal chest injuries, an inquest has heard.
Gareth Underwood, 37, was pronounced dead at Noble's Hospital shortly after 7.10pm on 15 April following the collision at Barregarrow crossroads.
The crash happened at about 5.55pm while the warehouse manager, who lived in Parliament Street in Ramsey, was riding towards Kirk Michael.
Adjourning the hearing, Coroner Rebecca Cubbon passed her condolences on to Underwood's family.
The Isle of Man Constabulary previously said the driver of the car had been assisting officers with their inquiries.
