Motorist 'behaviour' on roundels a matter for police says minister

MHK wants to know what advice police have issued

Is the 'behaviour' of motorists being observed as they drive over the roundels on Douglas Promenade?

That was one of the questions raised by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse in Tynwald this week:

He wanted to know what advice police were giving to motorists as they used the so-called unmarked junctions.

Home Affairs Minister Jane Poole-Wilson told him roads policing was a matter for the chief constable and drivers, cyclists and pedestrians had 'equal priority'.
