Yellow weather warning for frost and ice issued
The Mountain Road will stay closed until Monday (16 February) with a fresh yellow weather warning issued.
Ronaldsway Met Office has confirmed that a warning for frost and ice will come into effect at 5pm tonight (13 February).
Temperatures are due to fall below zero which will freeze wet surfaces, with the Department of Infrastructure confirming the mountain will stay shut over the weekend until 4:30pm on Monday.
The weather warning is set to lift at 12pm tomorrow (14 February).
There is also a risk of wintry showers overnight.
The mountain was closed to traffic following heavy snow overnight.
