The Mountain Road is currently closed due to a crash and heavy snow in the area.
The route is shut between the Creg-ny-Baa and Lheaney Road in Ramsey as a result of the weather conditions and a collision.
Officers are urging motorists to use alternative routes, and the Department of Infrastructure is operating gritters on the road.
Police have also closed the Tholt-y-Will Road and Beinn-y-Phott Road as a result of the snow.
A yellow weather warning for sleet and snow over hills and higher roads is in place until 3pm.
