Two occupants checked by paramedics for smoke inhalation
Fire crews from Douglas and Peel were called out late last night to a bedroom fire in Foxdale (Sunday 27 September).
On arrival, firefighters discovered that the two occupants had managed to evacuate the property following attempts the extinguish the fire, the cause of which is said to have been accidental.
A breathing apparatus team entered the property and extinguish the remaining small fire and check that it hadn't spread.
Both occupants received precautionary checks from paramedics for smoke inhalation.
A ventilation fan was used to remove residual smoke from the property and crews were in attendance for approximately 90 minutes.
