Route was initially shut until 9am
The Mountain Road remains closed this morning following more snowfall in the region.
Police had initially closed it from the Creg-ny-Baa to Lheaney Road in Ramsey until 9am on Saturday morning.
However, after a further assessment of the road surface, officers have decided to keep traffic off the route until midday.
Motorists are being asked to take care and drive to the conditions.
