Customers wont be worse off chairman guarantees
No domestic customers will be worse off under the Manx Utilities Authority's new pricing structure.
That guarantee has come from its chairman, Dr Alex Allinson MHK.
The structure was approved by Tynwald this week and will come into effect on 1 April next year.
There's a rebalancing of the water and sewerage rates to better reflect their costs, and all price rises are being pegged to the Manx consumer price index for the next five years.
