MUA teams on 'heightened alert'

Customer services’ staff will remain available via telephone and email

Teams from Manx Utilities are on 'heightened alert' to respond to any issues that could disrupt connectivity to essential services - particularly electricity.

It's closing its headquarters to the public at 12 noon tomorrow.

However customer services’ staff will remain available via telephone and email.

If there are issues with fallen power lines due to predicted adverse weather residents are urged not to approach them and instead call Manx Utilities on 687687.

Farmers are also being told to ensure their back-up generators are checked and working.
