Disruption follows burst water main
A main road through the centre of Colby will close this morning (Tuesday).
Glen Road will shut at 9.15am from its junction with Main Road to its junction with the Earystane Road.
It’s so Manx Utilities Authority workers can reinstate the tarmac on the road following a burst water main on Sunday.
MUA water network supervisor Kevin Cowin says the road is too narrow to have staff working while traffic passes by.
