Decline in iconic areas such as dubs and curraghs
Do you want a wilder future?
The Manx Wildlife Trust is launching a campaign of that name at the end of this month, (30 Mar) which seeks to build public support for action to better safeguard a healthy, natural environment.
The campaign recognises the decline in some Manx wild places such as dubs and the Ballaugh Curraghs.
CEO of the Trust Tim Graham says they have divided the campaign into five areas from Species loss to farming and fishing.
The campaign will be officially launched at the Court House in Ramsey at 10am on 30 March and an exhibition will be manned by volunteers every day between 10am and 4pm from 30 March to 6 April.
