Police in Peel are warning motorists to look out for nails on the road, after a driver reported finding a large number of them embedded in the tyres of his vehicle.
Officers don't believe the damage was deliberate, but are urging road users to stay alert to the possible danger.
They say it's possible there could still be a large number of the items on roads in the Peel area.
