NASA deal for second Manx firm

For the second time in a month, a Manx company is working with American space agency NASA.

After lenses made in Onchan landed on Mars with the Curiosity Rover, the Space Data Association has signed a deal with NASA to share satellite information.

Based on the Island, the SDA holds a huge database of satellite positions and orbits to help operators avoid interference or collisions.

Company secretary Ian Jarritt says the deal will encourage others to sign up to the project:
