Today (Mon) marks the start of National Gut week.
The initiative, now in its ninth year, runs nationwide across the UK, and aims to highlight the ever growing numbers of gastro-intestinal health problems seen in the UK, where one in eight hospital admissions are related to the digestive tract.
12% of all UK deaths are also related to the gut.
