Recorded crime up nine per cent
The nature of policing in the Isle of Man is changing, according to the Chief Constable's Annual Report.
Gary Roberts' report has also recorded a nine per cent increase in recorded crime here, in the 12 months between April 1 2014 and March 31 2015.
Chief Constable Roberts says just one in five police matters are now 'traditional' crimes, though.
He says the remainder now tend to be dealing with people who need help:
DHA seeking 'urgent explanation' after person on 'life licence' moved to IoM
Rob Callister appointed Minister for Housing and Communities
More bus service disruption over the weekend
Edge: People need to have confidence in elections
