Hopes to 'provide some comfort to Christopher’s family at this very difficult time'
An online appeal for a teen who died in a serious incident in Ramsey this week has raised nearly £10,000 in less than a day.
Fourteen-year-old Christopher Benjamin Robert James McBurnie died at the scene of the incident in Close Drean on Thursday (29 May).
A juvenile is in custody in relation to an ongoing murder investigation.
A fundraiser launched yesterday (31 May) was hoping to raise £5,000 to cover funeral costs and support Christopher's loved ones.
That target has been nearly doubled - reaching £9,859 by this morning (1 June).
