Speed limit brought in after consultation with commissioners
A new speed limit has been introduced in Ramsey as a way of making the town more ‘pedestrian friendly’.
The Department of Infrastructure has made the streets around the harbour and main shopping areas a 20mph zone.
The design, and extent of the zoned area, has been developed in conjunction with Ramsey Town Commissioners.
It includes Parliament Street, all the quayside roads, South Promenade, together with all link roads bounded by Albert Road, Queens Promenade and Bowring Road.
