Historian and author examines 19th and 20th century leisure facilities
An historian and author says he's surprised no-one has written about the Isle of Man's 'great period of entertainment' before.
John Manley's latest publication is called 'Pleasuredomes and Picture Palaces - The Story of Seaside Entertainments on the Isle of Man'.
It looks at the growth of theatres and other leisure facilities through the 19th and 20th century.
