'Friend or Foe' launched this week
A unique book highlighting a little known aspect of Island's wartime history was officially launched this week (Thurs 18th)
Port Erin and Port St Mary were the sites of Europe's only all-female prisoner internment camps.
Seven members of the Rushen Heritage Trust have spent the last four years researching stories from the period for a new book.
'Friend or Foe' tells of the uniqueness of locals sharing the south of the Island with so-called "enemy aliens".
Professor Hugh Davidson is from the Trust.
