The MHK who resigned from her position within the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure, over the Island's new bus timetable, still believes she did the right thing.
Brenda Cannell, who had delegated responsibility for public transport, stood down during a meeting called by North Douglas MHKs John Houghton and Bill Henderson, at which users of the service had a chance to air concerns over the revised schedules.
Mrs Cannell is also making it clear the timetable was the trigger to her decision, and not the whole reason behind it:
Island's finances 'in a better position than most other jurisdictions'
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
