Facility hopes to be a warm and welcoming place for patients and their families
It's been more than a decade in the making, but we are just weeks away now from a brand new facility to support cancer patients on the Island.
The state-of-the-art centre is being built on the site of Noble's Hospital and has been funded and designed by Mannin Cancers and the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.
Opposite the main entrance, it promises to offer a warm and welcoming environment while supporting patients and their carers.
Paid for by money fundraised by the two charities, it's expected to cost just under £2.5 million.
