A new regime of charges for parking at the airport comes into force tomorrow (Mon 5th Jan)
There will be no more free parking. One hour will now cost £1, with a second hour costing another £1. First day rate charges will increase by 50p.
There will still be limited disc parking and passengers can still be dropped off outside the terminal without charge.
The infrastructure department says it needs the estimated additional income of £75,000 to help meet its budget target.
TravelWatch Isle of Man says it regrets the loss of free parking but the new charges at Ronaldsway are still below those at most small airports.
Chairman of the group, Brendan O'Friel, says the group will monitor other charges in the pipeline to ensure the travelling public are not unfairly hit.
