New deaf service introduced

Communication between deaf people and doctors in the Isle of Man has been made easier, following the introduction of a new service.

A live online videolink will now be available to patients on demand to make medical appointments easier.

Interpreters previously had to be flown over from the UK, which has cost the taxpayer up to £1,000.
