Noble's Hospital ranked top for prompt surgery, but below average in four of eight areas
It's hoped a new doctor working with patients recovering from hip surgery will see Noble's Hospital ranked near the top in all areas of hip surgery performance.
The National Hip Fracture Database, which ranks hospitals across the British Isles, found Noble's to be the best performing hospital for prompt surgery.
However, the hospital was ranked below average in four of eight categories, including post-op delirium and bone medication.
In addition to being ranked best in the British Isles for prompt surgery, the NHFD found Noble's to be performing above average in three other areas.
