Members of the public are being asked to contribute to a major exercise to update all the bye-laws in Douglas.
A document has been circulated to all the members of Tynwald from the town, and rate payers are being invited to make their views known.
The proposed bye-laws can be examined at the town hall, where copies are on sale.
Policy and Resources Committee Chairman David Christian says the next step will be to enforce the rules and regulations far more rigorously (audio file attached):
