Arwid Hall says he'd also like to see the local authority be more 'transparent'
A newly elected Douglas councillor says protecting the city’s heritage could be key to boosting tourism to the Island.
Arwid Hall, who joined the local authority over the summer, says he had hoped to take up the role sooner, but was delayed by extenuating circumstances.
He’s now keen to make his mark – calling for the Council to be more transparent and have more open communication with residents.
Councillor Hall says he'd like to see people engage more with the local authority and go to public meetings.
