The woman who was the driving force behind the creation and design of a new Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit at Noble's Hospital believes its opening represents a real commitment to change.
Vicky Christian campaigned for the facility after suffering multiple miscarriages and a complicated pregnancy between 2018 and 2020.
She says the unit, which includes a private room designed specifically for parents experiencing miscarriage and baby loss, is a significant first step towards improving care for women on the Island:
