Alexandra Delaney-Bhattacharya hopes to promote 'culture of transparency and best practice'
The Isle of Man's new information commissioner has taken up her post.
Alexandra Delaney-Bhattacharya began her five-year term this week, taking over from interim information commissioner Stewart Haynes.
She says safeguarding the public's information rights is both a responsibility and a privilege, and she looks forward to promoting a culture of transparency and best practice.
Her appointment was approved by Tynwald earlier this year.
