New MHK reflects on his victory

The new member of the House of Keys for East Douglas says he will take time to reflect on the voices of the voters during the campaign.

Chris Robertshaw topped the poll on Thursday night, but managed to attract only ten per cent of the available vote.

He is pledging to campaign for political reform, particularly the way the Council of Ministers uses its block vote.

But with a low turnout of just under 38 per cent split between the six candidates, he is considering what the electorate was actually voting for:
