Those who ignore revoked consent could be convicted of an offence
A new offence making it illegal to ignore when a patient changes their mind over having an assisted death has been approved.
Middle MHK Jane Poole-Wilson put forward the proposal at this week's sitting of the House of Keys.
Originally, the Assisted Dying Bill did not make it illegal for someone to wilfully ignore or conceal when an individual revokes their consent.
