As yet unnamed vessel to set sail in 2023
There's speculation that the new Steam Packet vessel, ordered from a South Korean shipyard, will have the edge on the current flagship, the Ben My Chree, in manoeuvring.
It's hoped the as yet unnamed vessel will start sailing the Irish sea route in 2023.
Although the fine detail of her design and capacity may not have been agreed yet, Travelwatch spokesman Brendon O'Friel says its thought likely that she will be easier to dock:
