There's to be an independent and immediate review of the Department of Local Government's Planning Directorate.
It follows an amendment made during a Tynwald debate about maladministration in the planning process in connection with the 'Poachers Pocket' development in Ballasalla.
A select committee consisting of the Speaker Steve Rodan, Juan Turner MLC and David Cannan MHK will look into that specific case.
Malew and Santon MHK Graham Cregeen (pictured) put forward the original motion.
