New PR for IoM PLC

A new PR company has been appointed to raise the Island's profile around the globe, particularly with regard to its economic development.

The three year contract has been given to Lansons Communications, who will work with the Chief Secretary's Office, e-Business and Finance divisions of the Treasury and the Department of Trade and Industry.

It's the first time one agency has been appointed to work with all four organisations.

Chief Minister Tony Brown says the move to co-ordinate the promotion is in-line with the 'Freedom to Flourish' strategy and the Island's Strategic Plan.

Lanson's Chief Executive Tony Langham says he believes recent events, such as the Isle of Man sponsored dinner at the Mansion House in London,
