New Principal appointed at KWC

There's a new face at the Island's only public school as King William's College appoint a new Headteacher.

Mr Martin Humphrey's is coming to the role from his current position as Head of Communications and Marketing at Shrewsbury School where he's been since 1995.

Formerly an Investment Banker, Eton educated Mr Martin turned to teaching in his early thirties.

Nigel Wood, Chairman of the Governors of King William's College, says they are looking forward to welcoming Mr Martin to the Island and the school this summer.

Former Principal Dr Sarah Walsh left the post suddenly at the end of last year.
