Department for Enterprise says changes aim to improve 'spectator entertainment'
Next year's TT races are to have a new, revised scheduled.
The Department for Enterprise says changes have been made to "mitigate the demands that are placed on teams, riders [and] volunteers".
The new schedule means there will be some changes to the road closure times.
The races will therefore start a day later than previous years, on Sunday 31 May with an afternoon qualifying session.
Other changes will see a single lap 'morning warm up sessions' for solo riders before the opening race of the week - as well as on two race day mornings.
