Consultation on anti-money laundering law
Plans to toughen the Island's stance on financial crime are in the works.
Views are currently being sought on a new bill intended to fight money laundering, terrorism funding and various other forms of fraud.
It's in direct response to criticisms made by European finance inspectors in last year's MONEYVAL assessment.
The changes would enforce stricter rules about foreigners who have access to Manx funds, as well as harsher sanctions for those who break the law.
