New facility opens its doors on site of Noble's Hospital
A new support centre built on the site of Noble's Hospital has been described as an 'oasis' for those receiving cancer treatment.
The state-of-the-art facility, funded by Mannin Cancers and the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group, has now opened its doors.
It's designed to be a 'calm and supportive environment' for not only people living with cancer, but their families and loved ones too.
In September 2025 Manx Radio went for a sneak preview of the site - see HERE.
The efforts of both charities helped generate the £2.5 million needed to fund the development.
Derek Peters from Mannin Cancers says the new building is the result of a twenty-year-old dream:
Man admits several counts of fraud and wearing military uniform without permission
Initial Mooir Vannin meetings get underway
Hopes first time buyers schemes will be broadened before the next general election
'Time and specialist care' needed at Harry Kelly's Cottage
