Chief minister tweets about proposed changes
The chief minister hopes by making it illegal to sell vaping products to under 18s, it'll protect children's health.
The Vaping Products Bill was given its first reading to the House of Keys this morning, which would limit how products are displayed in shops and create enforcement procedures for those who break the rules.
Cabinet Office Minister Kate Lord-Brennan presented the legislation after almost 75% of respondents to a public consultation said they were happy with the proposed changes.
Alfred Cannan thinks the move will support concerned parents and educators too.
