Hundreds of hardy Manx residents will be launching themselves into Manx waters today to mark the start of the new year.
Castletown's 51st dip will start in the outer harbour at 10 am and dippers will be joined by two members of the town's Ale Drinkers Society who have taken part in every single dip to date.
Ramsey's dip is at 11 am from the slipway on South Promenade and the money raised will go to the RNLI and Northern Spirit Baton Twirlers.
Peel dippers dive in at noon from the Sailing Club and will donate their money to the RNLI, Multiple Sclerosis, and Manx Miracles.
Douglas fund-raisers will take the plunge at 12 noon from the beach opposite Queen's Hotel on Loch Promenade for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
The Southern Dippers will be dunking from four beaches for the 14th year.
The gruelling round starts at Chapel Beach in Port St Mary at 9.30 am then moves to the inner harbour in the village, before dippers rush in to the sea at Gansey bay and finishing at Port Erin beach at 11.45, with proceeds this year going to the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.
