The Isle of Man will join ITV's Granada news region later this year.
The Island will keep its ties to Border throughout the digital switchover this summer, but will join the north west region once it goes digital in November.
In a recent consultation, 77 per cent of respondants said they would prefer to receive their regional news from Granada.
