Paper criticised over "sensationalist" headline
Isle of Man Newspapers' editor, Richard Butt, has defended the front page of today's Examiner, which pictured all five welders from the UK who were jailed last week.
They went to Tesco for supplies rather than straight to their hotel when they arrived on the Island.
Critics of the paper say it's a "sensationalist style" and the pictures make it look like they've committed a far more serious crime.
Mr Butt is standing by the article:
Comments include "treating them like murderers", "a disgrace and embarrassing" and "sensationalist journalism".
