Cannan currently doing job after sacking Thomas
The next infrastructure minister must be ‘committed’ to supporting the Council of Ministers.
That’s the verdict of the chief minister who is currently doing the job himself.
Alfred Cannan fired Chris Thomas last week saying the Department of Infrastructure needed rapid reform.
And he’s told Manx Radio he’s not prepared to appoint someone who isn’t following CoMin’s ‘line of travel’:
Mr Thomas told Tynwald he had lost confidence in Mr Cannan's leadership before telling Manx Radio he was frustrated he couldn't still lead the DoI.
