More than 6,200 residents now waiting to be allocated to a dental provider
The number of patients waiting to be assigned to an NHS dentist's list has grown again to 6,254.
It's up more than 100 compared to December.
Manx Care says the number of patients allocated to a dental provider has been consistently low for a number of reasons, including that dentists have not had an uplift in contractual payments since 2020.
However, the healthcare board believes it's now in a position to look at unifying how dental providers are paid, which it hopes will improve access to services and offset the current waiting list.
