Major legislation passes first reading
A Bill to reshape the Island's health service will undergo its second reading in the House of Keys next week (22nd Mar).
The Health and Care Service Bill 2016 would see the Island's NHS incorporate social care at its core - effectively rebranding it as the 'NHSC'.
It would also amalgamate provisions, establish a 'Health Charter' and enable the Department of Health and Social Care to implement changes more quickly.
