A lecture this evening (Wednesday) on the Manx night sky and the Isle of Man's continuing role in the space industry has been sold out.
The event is being held a week after around 100 locals attended a sky watching night at Noble's Park as part of the BBC's 'Stargazing Live'.
Chairman of the Isle of Man Astronomical Society Howard Parkin, who is giving the lecture, says it highlights the interest in the universe we live:
