No bus timetable consultation despite minister's promise

MHKs hit out at lack of public engagement on public transport

Two MHKs have hit out at the infrastructure minister after a promise to put the Island's bus timetables out to public consultation wasn't fulfilled.

In the House of Keys, in December 2021, Tim Crookall said there would 'absolutely' be a full consultation to 'all and sundry' on the Island for the 2023 schedule.

That hasn't happened, instead an 'internal review' has taken place.

Douglas North MHK David Ashford says that's not good enough:

Onchan MHK Rob Callister told Manx Radio he isn't surprised:

Manx Radio has invited the Department of Infrastructure to respond.
