No change for Kirk Michael rates

But Arbory and Rushen see 11 pence rise

Arbory and Rushen residents will see rates go up by 7.5 per cent this year.

They are rising from 136 to 147 pence in the pound.

Board members have cited higher contributions to the Southern Civic Amenity Site and Southern Swimming Pool as the main reasons for the increase.

Meanwhile in Kirk Michael rates will remain the same for the next financial year.

At 144 pence in the pound it's one of the Island's lower rates.
