Developers stay tight-lipped
The Pure Leisure group says it has "no comment" regarding the wirthdrawal of its plans for the Glen Truan Golf course site.
The application for 55 holiday lodges was withdrawn yesterday (7 June).
The proposals, first revealed last year, prompted a strong reaction within the local community, splitting public opinion.
A recently published report by the PBCD had recommended the application be refused.
An extraordinary meeting of the planning committee next week, has now been cancelled.
