FlyBe is reminding passengers from the Isle of Man that aviation remains the safest form of public transport, despite Thursday's crash in Buffalo in the United States, which killed all 48 people on board.
FlyBe owns the world's largest fleet of Bombadier Dash 8 Q400 aircraft, which was the type involved in the accident.
Some of the airline's flights to and from the Island are carried out by Q400s, including the Manchester service.
A spokesperson for the company said they couldn't comment on any concerns about the aircraft at this stage.
